Description:

You may encounter significant performance issues when executing LANSA Client queries with O/S 7.1 in relation to execution times with earlier O/S versions.

For instance, the same query (returning the same results set) will take significantly longer when executed against 7.1 as opposed to pre-7.1.

Solution

We have established that applying Cumulative PTF C1270710 will resolve the performance issue. Keeping up to date with all the latest 7.1 Cumulative and Group PTFs and CUMEs is generally recommended.
